CHOIR DIRECTOR
Mr. Michael is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education, and a minor in Communication Studies. While at Ohio University he was a member and section leader of the Tenor 1 section in the Singing Men of Ohio, as well as a member of the contemporary acappella group auditioned out of that ensemble called Section Eight. He was also a member of the euphonium section in the Ohio University Marching 110. As a member of the Singing Men of Ohio and the Marching 110 Mr. Michael traveled to Ireland, Italy, France, England, Canada, and 18 different states for performances. Under the direction of Mr. Michael the middle school and high school ensembles at Adena explore many new contemporary choral works every concert cycle, with the addition of one or two classical works. Mr. Michael is from Pomeroy, Ohio and currently lives in Grove City. He is a member of a symphonic band in downtown Columbus where he plays euphonium.
