KING OF THE KOURT BOYS VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT--Wednesday, March 15 , 2023, at 7:00 PM. Admission: $3.00 & Concession Stand will be open.

Congratulations to 8th graders Clara Ewing and Lily Salyers who competed at the Regional Power of the Pen Tournament at Ann Simpson Davis Middle School in Dublin. Both students were honored for their achievements in their writing and earned the Power of the Pen Platinum Award! This means that they have qualified for the State Tournament in May! They will also be published authors; their winning stories will be published in the 2022-2023 Power of the Pen Book of Winners.

For students to be eligible to participate in the College Credit Plus Program for the next school year (2023-2024), students along with their parents/guardians, MUST attend one of the following informational meetings. Current CC+ students must also attend if they plan to continue in the program for next year. ***These are the only two meeting times. If you do not attend one of them then you will not be permitted to participate in CC+ next school year. **6pm on March 16th, 2023. Adena High School Auditeria. OR **5:30 PM March 21st, 2023. Now through the end of March, School Nutrition Industry Professionals (SNIP) is hosting the 2023 Spectacular Sandwich Throwdown to raise awareness and funds to paydown (payoff) Unpaid Meal Charges incurred by the school nutrition program. Congratulations Kayla Grooms! Blazing the trail for future Lady Warriors- Kayla placed fourth at the girls regional tournament this weekend. She is the first female Adena state-qualifying wrestler and the first female state-qualifying wrestler in the SVC. Good Luck, Kayla!

Forecasts indicate a potential for heavy rainfall in our area on Friday. Please be aware heavy rainfall may cause disruptions to the normal school schedule. Have a "plan b" ready in case we have to dismiss early due to high water issues.

Seniors & Parents of 2023--Please check out the Senior Class Facebook Page for updates as we move closer to graduation. **It is time for all those cute baby pictures for our awards night, memorable pictures of elementary, middle, and high school years, AND senior pictures! We only need one baby picture per student (please scan pictures to email). If a baby picture is not supplied we will use a senior picture for the video montage.
