I am excited to announce that we have declared 4 teachers as our "10 Week Tech Challenge Champions" for the 2021-2022 school year. A challenge was issued to teachers about 10 weeks ago meant to give all the chance to sharpen their tech skills in the classroom. A new tech challenge was issued each week over the course of the 10 weeks. This group completed each of the challenges that was sent their way. With all of the challenges that teachers already face on a daily basis, we understand this is no small feat. Here they are holding their trophies and some of the goodies they won! Congratulations!

This is an important message regarding bus transportation for students living on Westfall Road. We have been notified that Westfall Road between Egypt Pike and Route 207 is sealed off at this time. Buses will not be permitted to travel on the road for any reason. Parents of students living on this portion of Westfall Road will have to come to school to pick up their children today as we will not be permitted to drop them off. Our third grade students visited Tar Hollow State Park today.
The staff at the park gave our students a variety of fun educational experiences to get involved with during their visit.
Adena Local Schools was well represented at the field day put on by the Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Ohio at the Chillicothe Paints Stadium today.
Our high school students that have participated in the program have made a great impact on our elementary students in the program!
The program has grown and we look forward to getting more students involved next school year.
***ATTENTION SENIOR PARENTS & STUDENTS***
Due to athletic conflicts from multiple Spring sports, we are officially moving the Senior Awards Night program to Monday, May 23, 2022 at 6pm. Please make sure that if your senior is receiving a scholarship this evening that the high school office is unaware of, notify the guidance office. We are working to contact all scholarship presenters of this change and do not want to miss anyone. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility with this situation. We are doing our best to accommodate the majority of our seniors involved. #Classof2022 #warriorstrong

There were a lot of excited Adena Warriors at the Columbus Zoo today! Students in grades pre-k thru first grade had their PBIS reward trip today.
Our second and third grade students will attend the zoo tomorrow. Then our fourth grade students will be attending on Tuesday, May 10th.
All students need to remember to bring a disposable lunch and bring back great memories to share.
