The Adena Schools Cafeteria would like to inform parents and guardians that we are experiencing some supply chain issues at this time. We might have to make some last minute substitutions in the daily menus, but we will try our best to keep you informed ahead of time. Currently it is very difficult to get chicken products and some other food staples along with serving supplies like styrofoam bowls and plastic ware. Please be patient and we will work through this as best we can while we try to keep appetizing lunches and breakfasts in front of our children. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Parents- YOU’RE INVITED!!! Parents and guardians of Adena students are invited to our upcoming Academic and Career awareness night, Monday, November 1st, from 5:30-7:00 p.m.. We strongly encourage all 8th - 12th grade families to join their kids in exploring the career options available both with and without a college degree that provide a good living to students who are willing to put in the time and effort to learn the skills and work into a full-time job. We have scheduled many local employers who will be available to share with students what they look for in potential employees and what school skills they need to be successful in their jobs along with displays of projects/learning produced by students. Several classrooms will have presentations and information for you to take part in throughout the evening. There will be an Informational meeting beginning at 5:30 to introduce our Career reps and provide an overview of the NEW Ohio Graduation Requirements for the class of 2023 and beyond for students and parents in grades 8-11. Preschool, Elementary and Middle School teachers have also prepared activities focusing on literacy, math, and technology with fun activities throughout the evening. The cafeteria will offer hotdogs, chips and drinks if your schedule is busy and you need to get a quick meal or snack. Please join us for “Line Up for Literacy” this Monday, November 1st from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Adena School. Together, we can help our kids accomplish great things!

Hello! We need your help. The Adena Local Schools invite you to take a look at the staff pumpkin decorating contest results. Your challenge is to pick one (1) and only ONE favorite pumpkin from the gallery. We thank all staff who submitted an entry. We hope this friendly competition has provided a brief respite from the stress and worry of working during the pandemic. We appreciate everyone's efforts to help give our students as much "normal" as we can provide and applaud everyone for making it possible to keep the doors open through the surge. Congratulations and THANKS to all Adena staff for your hard work in support of our children, and may the best pumpkin win! https://forms.gle/LXMko7ZNM3XhHi9n9
